Update training
Dear all,
To update you: I was injured quite severely on both Achilles tendons/calves. Probably I went from 10-15 km per week to > 50 to quickly! So I had to do a lot of alternative training.... like cross trainer, rowing, cycling, assault bike... I los hope that I would run pain free again before the marathon. But...!!!! It did improve!! I am not painfree but much much better! So I started running more and even restarted interval training!!! It's still pretty scary.. I only ran 22 so far and that has been a while... This Sunday I did 1,5 hours of rowing directly followed by 17 km of running (1 hour 40 minutes), which is my longest training so far, but still a combination of 2 sports...
3 weeks to go! I have 5-6 trainings per week planned and this Thursday a serious interval training! This Sunday a half marathon (running :-)) on race tempo, super exciting!
